Do Not Try This At Home!
* Beauty Mistakes *
When a client requests a permanent makeup procedure, do not give them ‘FASHION’ brows, eyeliner or lip colour.
Fashion is in and out like the wind…and not conducive with permanent makeup application.
Remember the point of ‘Permanent Makeup’ is for the client’s makeup to look natural and elegant. Looks that will stand the test of time.
Here are several ‘GLAMOUR DONT’S’ in the world of permanent makeup.

SCOUSE BROWS
When heavy-handed, stenciled-in brows inspire a television show called Desperate Scousewives, you know it can’t be a good thing. On the opposite end of the brow spectrum, over tweezed brows are equally scary.
When in doubt, leave the plucking to a professional.

LIP LINER
We know where your lips are—there’s no need to contour them in a shade darker than your skin tone or lipstick. If you must line, do so with a shade that matches.

In our own clinic we very rarely apply lip liner to our clients.
The most requested procedure is ‘Lip Sparkling’. This procedure was started in the early 90’s by Susan Church.
Instead of giving the client a ‘full lip colour’ we use 3 different complimentary pigment colours that give the lips colour without being overbearing of the look of a total lip colour.

The end result? ‘Lip Sparkling’!
