The League of Permanent  Cosmetic Providers (LPCP) was formed to raise worldwide philosophies. procedural  and ethical practices in the permanent makeup industry.

 The public deserves to have the most qualified technicians performing procedures on them. With the LPCP logo they are assured that their technician is competent in permanent makeup procedural applications.

 The class curriculum was developed and written by some of the top leaders in the industry. The technician must pass an oral,  practical and hands on written exam.

 These exams were developed with strict guidelines in regards to Bloodborne Pathogen Standards, OSHA and CDC guidelines, proper symmetry of all procedures, application and insertion of pigments, proper colour selection for each procedure application, client care, proper needle selection, machine technology and selection, anatomy and physiology,  proper protocol, how to present a worthy pictorial essay of their procedural applications, accurate consultation, procedural tray set up and tear down, contraindications, proper medical, Pre and Post Care, consent and release forms.  National laws, state, county and city laws are also an integral part of our curriculum.

Certification is dependent upon completion of a  135  hour class from one of our qualified instructors, have demonstrated knowledge and passed the oral, practical and written exams of the above subjects.

Approved technicians will have the acronym CPDA proudly displayed behind their name.

This acronym stands for ‘Certified Permanent Dermal Artist’.

This prestigious honor will make the public aware that the technician has achieved a level of competency in permanent makeup procedural application.

Our class guidelines are among the strictest in the world and education does not conclude after the technicians beginning class. All students are encouraged to attend classes again not only by their beginning educators but by other educators as well.
