Embroidery and ‘3 D’ Hair Simulation Eyebrows
If you are tired of drawing on your eyebrows, taking them off… and redrawing them to make
them symmetrical then Embroidery Eyebrows are your answer!
The skilled technician can give the client a feathery very natural looking brow called Embroidery, ‘3 D’imensional Eyebrows or Hair Simulation.
Embroidery eyebrows look so lifelike because we leave the natural skin showing in between the feathery hair strokes.
This procedure is accomplished with a single or very tight 3 prong needle grouping. Microscopic feathery hair strokes are drawn on in the brow line to mimic real hairs. The technician then traces the drawn on lines with a rotary, digital or coil machine
Embroidery can be either permanent (implantation of pigment into the dermal layer of skin) or semi-permanent (implantation of pigment into the epidermis).
The procedure should take about 1- 1 ½ hours to complete and anesthesia (Magic) is used for client comfort.
The eyebrow colour will be complimentary to the client’s skin undertones, hair and eye colour. We use 2-3 different iron oxide colours. We alternate a ‘cool’ and a ‘warm’ pigment colour. This will give the client the ‘3D’ look instead of a flat looking eyebrow.
We only use iron oxide based products for this procedure as it is non-reactive in the skin. We have never seen any type of reaction to these pigments. Using organic plant based pigments is not feasible as so many people are allergic to nuts, fruits and berry’s which is the basis for organic pigments.
The embroidery procedure is safe if performed in a ‘clean’ environment, by a qualified technician and they follow all Bloodborne Pathogen Regulations.
The embroidery eyebrows will last for a few years but will depend on the client’s after care and use of exfoliation products that include alpha hydroxide acids (AHA) and other skin lighteners or brighteners.
Now you can look great 24/7!
