Permanent Makeup Procedure Preparation

Prior to the application a client assessment will include two phases: collection and analysis of information.                                      ©

Client consideration should also include assessing his/her expectations of the desired procedure.

If the client is on any medication or there are any contraindications, they will need to obtain a release from their health care provider. This release must be written on their Rx pad and faxed to the office prior to the procedure date.

This information is achieved through an interview and examination that will involve an extensive history of the clients:

Past and present illnesses

Diseases

Disorders

Allergies to products, food, latex

Potential scarring

Smoking habits

Alcohol consumption

Chickenpox, Herpetic or Shingles outbreaks

Eye problems

Any type of cancer or radiation treatments

Any other Contraindications- notify your technician

On any experimental medication

Any type of skin care products that would cause a contraindication to a procedure
