How to Correct Pink Brows ©
When a technician uses a warm brown colour on a warn under-toned client, over time and useage of glycolic acid, other skin lightening peels and products the result will be a pinkish looking brow.
If a client’s eyebrows have healed too pink, you can cool them down with a ‘cool’ brown pigment colour.
We have the best results if we try to lighten the incorrect colour by giving the client a peel, microdermabrasion or laser removal treatment.
Lightening up the undesired colour first will give you a much more pleasing final result. If we do not do this first, its likely we will need to refresh the colour yearly to make the colour pleasing to the eye.
Depending on the perceived colour of the eyebrow, we lighten the brows first, then, depending on the client’s ethnicity, we will use a green based pigment colour and make hair strokes into the brow area to create the semblance of hair.
Don’t be afraid to use a green based pigment for corrections. This colour will give you the best results!
